In breathy darkenss
I dream of sheading this skin-- this flesh
This life gone
Leaping into the void that is beyond
Moving onto new
Taking on the next life-- another life
No monotony
Into the exploration of ambiguity
To be energy
Not bound by a shell- expectation
Floating lost
Where I am finally found.

ReplyDeleteHey kiddo ...
I know that sometimes life has a tendency to really, really, REALLY crush people down (stomp 'em is more like it), but as one who is sesitive like yourself, I find that prayer and meditation are a source of comfort to me. You have to hang in there though.
As human beings, we can feel very small in this world ... what is our place? what is our purpose? what is the meaning of life? why do bad things occur in this world and why does it always seem like the innocent / good people wind up getting hurt and not the guilty / bad people? Sad to say, but I do not have all of the answers. In fact, I have more questions than answers. ;-)
Here is a small phrase of wisdom (possibly Zen, but I'm not sure) that you may want to remember ... it is:
If you let cloudy water settle
it will become clear.
If you let your upset mind settle
your course will also become clear.
I just found that out here on the Internet, and didn't make it up myself - though I wish that I had the ability to put things so eloquently. As I said before, hang in there. There are people that you both know and do not know who are pulling for you in the midst of both your struggles and successes. They are there even when you feel all alone. Just know that you do not suffer alone although it may seem as though you do.
Concentrate upon the smaller things in life. Notice the unnoticed. How often do you pay homage to God for the incredible gift of nature that surrounds us? There is so much beyond what little worlds that we construct around ourselves. Seek refuge in Nature if it calls you to do so. Pour your thoughts out into a diary that only you will ever have to see. Writing your thoughts and feelings down in some type of format (i.e. on a blog like this, in a notebook, on your computer, etc.) can lessen the load and turmoil in your mind by placing it outside of your usual thought patterns. Sometimes purging it from one's self can be quite therapeutic. You can come back to it at a later time with hopefully a new viewpoint / angle in which to analyze it. Try it sometime if you haven't done so already.
OK, gonna scoot here. Stay well and don't harm yourself. Suicide is NOT a way out. It is a permanent decision to a temporary problem. No coming back. No second chances. Nada. Fini.
Hang in there. You are in my prayers.
Take care and I bid you P-E-A-C-E.

ReplyDeleteHey just touching base with you "me" (i.e. founder of this blog) ... was doing a search on my alias and saw that I left a comment here for you back in November 2009.
ReplyDeleteWould like to know how you've been fairing since then. I do hope that you are well. Praying for you now as I write these brief little words for you to read. Please hang in there and know that you are not alone in your hurt and struggles.
Do not lose hope or faith. Remain strong. Seek out help and assistance if you need it, and pass it along if you can give it to someone. We are here in this world to help one another in whatever way that we can.
I bid you PEACE,
